The Emka Group is a private concern of industrial plants and commercial companies owned by the Klein family. Its diverse activity in the paper and printing products industry has been spread over 60 years of achievements and Zionism.
The Group employs about 300 employees in seven divisions and is considered to be one of the largest industrialists in Israel in the field of paper.
The uniqueness of the Group is the diversity of the products which it manufactures under one roof – there is no other body similar to Emka in Israel offering a basket of products so comprehensive and with such high added value to its customers.
The manufacturing sites are located in the Ad Halom industrial zone close to Ashdod and the Sha’ar Hanegev Industrial Park in Sderot.
The Group’s management applies a Zionist pragmatic policy in practice, this by giving preference to immigrant absorption and the creation of jobs in development areas; encouragement of foreign investors for capital and technological investment in Israel; promotion of export and encouragement of Israeli (blue and white) products as a company involved in the field of industry and entrepreneurship throughout almost all of Israel and to this very day we see fit to give preference to local suppliers and blue and white products.
The group places special emphasis and attention to the quality of the environment and recycling and we have recently constructed the most advanced plant of its type in the Middle East for production of paper bags and wrapping paper rolls for the retail market with the objective of encouraging the use of green and environmentally friendly products
